KATE LISTER
Yoga has been a steady part of Kate’s life since she was 14. She has been teaching for over a decade and she’s not sick of these practices yet!
Also a professional musician and coach, it is her favourite thing to share practices that help cultivate a little peace of mind and joyfulness – and to have a laugh along the way.
Throughout the retreat we can also explore yoga philosophy, journalling & coaching practices, voice & breathwork – and maybe even have a singalong or two!
Your host and instructor for the week will be Kate Lister. Will is also on site to help organise the trips and activities.
WILL WHEELER
Based in London, Will has been a yoga instructor for 10 years. Having led countless retreats in his career, Will has perfected the art of creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere on his retreats.
Morocco is where it all started for Will on his first yoga instructor course. This is what he really loves – travelling to tropical locations with people who share his yogic passion. Come join him!
The venue
SRI DEVI
The venue provides total tranquility away from the hustle and bustle.
You’ll stay in your own private villa with each villa sleeping one, two or three guests.
Expect to lounge by the pool, practise in the outdoor yoga shala and get a revitalising dose of Sri Lankan sunshine.

Kate’s positivity is totally alluring and catches like wildfire. She seems to know exactly how everyone is feeling and how to take the practice accordingly. All the practices felt super special and really in community spirit.

The programme
The retreat is both a holiday and a chance to practise yoga outside in tropical surroundings.
YOGA & BREATHWORK
Most days will include one yoga session and one activity a day.
Kate's yoga classes are breath-led, dynamic and nurturing. Her yin and restorative practices are simultaneously an opportunity to find deep, regenerative rest and to delve into practices of mindfulness, meditation and conscious-awareness.
Kate's flow classes offer space to explore the body and get creative with movement, whilst also offering guidance to find integrated strength with anatomical awareness.
Activities will include cooking classes, jungle treks, bike rides and exploring the stunning local area.
Will Wheeler is an excellent host. His attention to detail and determination to deliver an exceptional experience is paramount and much appreciated. As a retreater you get to totally relax and just choose what you want to indulge in safely in the knowledge the research has been done and the best options suggested.

FOOD
You’ll be set up for the day with a healthy Sri Lankan breakfast of fruits, omelettes and string hoppers. And after a hard day of relaxing, you’ll be rewarded with a sumptuous Sri Lankan feast.
Dietary requirements? Sri Devi’s mouth-watering dishes cater for everyone, whether vegan, vegetarian, or pescetarian.
Plus there’ll be an evening out to enjoy the local cuisine, with beach front dinner and drinks.
This retreat is all about balance; there are plenty of opportunities built into the retreat for excursions — and for enjoying the delicious Sri Lankan cuisine.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
You can choose to spend your days relaxing in the private grounds of Sri Devi or enjoy some of the day trips and experiences. Many of these are included, while some are available for a small additional fee — see the booking form for more info.

IS IT OK TO COME ALONE?
Yes, most guests are solo travelers and we welcome single riders! It’s an opportunity for you to fully immerse yourself in your practice but also to meet like-minded individuals. Strangers often come away with new friends on retreats.
CAN I SPREAD THE COST?
Yes! Payment plans are available. Get in touch with Will to set up a payment plan.
WHAT’S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Please ensure you have appropriate travel insurance. If travel restrictions come into place due to border restrictions or due to COVID-19, your space is refundable/transferable to another retreat. Outside of these terms, the deposit is non-refundable. Your balance can be refunded up to ten weeks prior to the retreat. If you find another client to fill your spot, a 15% admin fee will be charged and your balance returned.
