YAZ

Yaz has been a professional fitness instructor in London for four years. Whether it’s a dance cardio class, a lengthening and sculpting Barre class or a strength-building fitness class, Yaz is experienced in multidisciplinary workouts.​

 

Yaz has trained hundreds of clients in group classes and private sessions, all with her light, upbeat style.​

 

She says, “fitness has always been a part of my life from a young age, I’ve always felt a drive towards how fitness makes me feel empowered.”

SUZE

With a background in Vinyasa, Rocket, and Yin, Suze blends structure with softness to create a grounded, inclusive space where all bodies are welcome. Her classes invite you to explore movement that feels good for your body — whether that means building heat, finding your edge, or sinking deep into stillness.

JEISON

Jeison is a Brazilian movement teacher who believes that motion is medicine — a powerful way to ground ourselves, shake off stress, and reconnect to the present.

 

Whether it’s yoga, Pilates, or a spontaneous leg shake, Jeison sees movement as the thread that steadies us through life’s ups and downs. His classes blend curiosity, care, and a playful spirit, creating space for both challenge and ease.

Yaz had put so much effort into the different classes. They were well thought through and had a good amount of variety. The music was also so good!

ASUMA RETREAT

Set within a 10-hectare eco-sanctuary, Ašuma offers eco-luxury glamping tents, a spacious yoga shala, lounge and dining space, and panoramic views across untouched valleys and peaks.

 

With forest trails at your doorstep and the Adriatic coast just a short distance away, it’s the perfect setting for a week of restoration, connection, and adventure.

You’ll spend seven nights at Ašuma in the heart of Montenegro’s forested Lovćen National Park.

Suze has a natural warmth that makes everyone feel welcome. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, Suze always offers thoughtful options so you feel both challenged and deeply at ease.

MELISSA

The programme

You’ll have two sessions a day with Yaz: one Barre and one Pilates. Morning Yoga with Suze and Yin Yoga with Jeison in the evening. 

BARRE & PILATES WITH YAZ

 

Expect to be challenged in Yaz’s classes, and discover muscles you never knew you had — all while moving to an absolute banging playlist!​ Each class will be 45 minutes and give a full body workout. Classes are for all levels with modifications and progressions always given. 

 

BARRE: This is a low impact class designed to strengthen and tone muscles. We move at a slower pace, focusing on core strength and stability. This is a great class for anyone living with long/short term injuries and also pre- and post-natal.​

 

PILATES: Pilates offers a holistic approach to fitness by improving core strength, flexibility, posture and overall body awareness. Yaz's Pilates classes continuously flow, so the body is always stimulated. Expect to feel challenged particularly in core and balance exercises and expect to feel revived and stronger.

YOGA WITH SUZE

 

Suze’s intelligently crafted vinyasa and rocket classes offer a nurturing space to ground, explore, and reconnect to yourself. Her flows invite you to soften and strengthen in equal measure, connecting breath with movement.

YIN & RESTORE WITH JEISON

 

Jeison complements Suze’s classes beautifully with his slow, deeply calming sessions — joyful, curious, and deeply restorative. Expect moments of heat, stillness, and movement that feels good from the inside out.

Jeison’s sessions are pure joy. His energy is infectious, the playlists are always on point, and somehow, even mid-burn, you find yourself smiling.

Relax & Refuel

FOOD

Enjoy nourishing meals served in the cosy dining hall, vegetarian/vegan brunch and dinner are provided and inspired by meditation and the bounty of the seasons.

 

No dish is served twice!

This retreat is all about slowing down, reconnecting with nature, and finding balance through movement and mindful living.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES

At Ašuma, there’s as much time for stillness as there is for exploration.

 

Between yoga sessions, you can curl up with a book in the forest lounge, sway gently in a hammock beneath the ancient beech trees, or enjoy the tranquillity of your tent’s outdoor space.

 

For those wishing to dive deeper, there are optional experiences to enrich your stay:

  • Scenic hikes to mountain viewpoints and nearby traditional villages, both solo and guided

  • Day trips to the Adriatic coast or neighbouring cultural and historical towns/cities

FAQs

IS IT OK TO COME ALONE?

Yes, most guests are solo travelers and we welcome single riders! It’s an opportunity for you to fully immerse yourself in your practice but also to meet like-minded individuals. Strangers often come away with new friends on retreats.

CAN I SPREAD THE COST?

Yes! Payment plans are available. Get in touch with us to set up a payment plan.

WHAT’S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Please ensure you have appropriate travel insurance. If travel restrictions come into place due to border restrictions or due to COVID-19, your space is refundable/transferable to another retreat. Outside of these terms, the deposit is non-refundable. Your balance can be refunded up to ten weeks prior to the retreat. If you find another client to fill your spot, a 15% admin fee will be charged and your balance returned.
