The venue
BORGO BELSEDERE
With sustainability at the heart of their ethos, Borgo Belsedere is more than a destination; it’s a haven that marries tranquillity with imperfections, radiating beauty and authenticity.
Within the 300-hectare organic estate of vineyards, olive groves and truffle fields, the property covers an area of more than two hectares and offers 360-degree views of the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside.
At the heart of the complex is the medieval villa, surrounded by a picturesque outdoor area. The historic park connects the inner courtyard, including the chapel and orangery, with the spacious pool area.
Borgo Belsedere lies in the heart of Tuscany, Italy, an hour and a half scenic drive from Florence.

The programme
CLASS STYLES
There are two yoga classes a day – morning and evening. Both classes will include different types of breathwork, and will utilise both indoor and outdoor space to give a unique but complimentary feeling to each class and building your confidence in your own practice.
The morning classes will be slightly more dynamic and energising than the evening classes – the perfect way to start your day!
The evening classes will generally be slightly longer to include a meditation or yoga Nidra to leave you feeling completely relaxed and refreshed.
Kate will also be on hand to provide free mini workshops to anyone who wishes to develop their yoga practice further, getting deeper into any poses you’d like to work on.
The aim of this retreat is to be fun and relaxing, yet invigorating. We'll focus on autumn, embracing change and finding the time for self-care and balance.
Kate is an inspiring yoga teacher. I look forward to practice each week and welcome her precision when talking through the asanas. The feeling of bliss after class is wonderful, thanks Kate!
CATHERINE

FOOD
Delicious, healthy Italian food is served for brunch and dinner every day. Coffee, tea, cake, crackers, and fruits are served mid-afternoon.
With a focus on sustainability, much of the produce comes from the organic algricultural land local to the venue.
As well as 500 acres of grain fields, the property boasts it's own vineyard overlooking Montalcino and Siena. Wine from their estate will be available to purchase with dinner.
This retreat offers you the opportunity to slow down and tune into the rhythms of the natural environment — and to enjoy some delicious Italian feasts.
